Now that you've finished this book, I trust you can see that when one believes and understands the events of history as given in the Bible, and the basic Christian doctrines, then it really is easy to give answers when asked about dinosaurs.

But what happens when Christians don't believe the Bible's history or understand the doctrines of Christianity that are based in Genesis? For instance, what about people who are Theistic Evolutionists,84 Progressive Creationists,85 or Gap Theorists?86 All these ideas accept death, bloodshed, disease, and suffering before sin, and to one degree or another add aspects of what evolutionists teach into their thinking. Also, many who hold these positions do not accept Noah's flood as global, but only a local event.

There are also many Christians who say they don't know what to believe about Genesis, chapters 1–12.

Well, if someone holds one of the positions above, they should consider the following illustration about a conversation between a father and son:

"Hey, Dad, I had a lesson on dinosaurs at school today. How should I, as a Christian, understand these creatures?"
